Laura Linney, the four-time Tony nominee, is back on Broadway. This season, Linney takes on a solo drama based on Elizabeth's Strout bestselling novel, My Name Is Lucy Barton, which is about a writer who wakes from surgery to find her mother at the foot of her bed. Linney plays the title character, descending into the trauma of a childhood shaped by poverty and abusive parents, and her mother, who must reckon with her daughter's past. My Name Is Lucy Barton is produced by Manhattan Theatre Club, adapted from Strout's novel by Rona Munro and directed by Richard Eyre. Take a look at photos of Linney onstage at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre in the gallery below.
